Lisa and I met at high school when we were just 14. The thing I remember most about that day was her beautiful smile.
Before long we were getting into trouble for talking too much in class, and were hanging out together every day after school. If we weren’t together, we were talking on the phone. While I don’t remember what we talked about, I vividly remember how I felt. That year and a half or so was a wonderful time in my life that I have never forgotten.
Then all of a sudden she wasn’t there anymore. She had met someone new and quickly drifted out of my life. I still remember missing her, but time moves on and we each got on with our lives... producing 8 wonderful kids between us! In 2005 when someone told me about the Old Friends website I immediately thought of Lisa. I was excited to find she had already registered and I sent her an email saying I hoped she was the girl I used to know. Since we found each other again every day has been better than the last, and last year Lisa agreed to marry me. So on the 25th of August we become husband and wife, and I’m looking forward to continuing this great love and friendship of ours for the rest of our days.
