Well, after 18 months of planning it's a done deal. All the things we have spent so long planning, all came together on the day and went perfectly. Our ceremony was just what we wanted. The ring warming ceremony meant a lot to us. Its lovely to know our rings have been held and blessed by all our friends and family. The reception table settings looked divine (phew, I was worried about that) and it was amazing to look around the tables at the reception and see all our favourite people in one place and having a great time. We got up on Sunday and had breakfast with the 26 or so people who stayed the night, and then headed straight out to the airport to escape on honeymoon. A couple of weeks on, the glow still hasn't dimmed. We are very happy, and have wonderful memories of our special day.

P.S. A special thank you to Sue who is such a special friend. She held my hand, hugged me, ran around after all the girls and poured the tequila, all exactly when I needed it. I'm very lucky to have a friend like you Sue, thank you so much. Love Lisa :-)

Its 4 more sleeps to go until our big day and Lisa and I are running around like mad men (lisa mostly) sorting the last little bits out. There is a bunch of picking up and dropping off to do before saturday but to be fair its going to be all worth it and an awesome day for us to celebrate with our family and friends. We are both really tired and a little stressed but come our big day we will be totally relaxed and looking forward to heading off to the Cook Islands for our honeymoon on Sunday for the start of our life together as husband and wife.

Today, we went to the appointment for the little girls at the brides corner shop. And that went very well. The girls are sooooo excited over their dresses, they just will not stop going on about them. It took a little while to choose the right shoes, but in the end we got very cute little black glossy buckle up ones, they are so cute. They have a bow on the top. I cannot believe that the wedding is only two weeks exactly from today! It was sooo gorgeous when the three little girls were practising their walking down the aisle to the wedding song. It almost brought tears to my eyes. The song is awesome... it really gives the moment a little... i dunno really... but it is a great song! Hahaha it was funny as when dad pretended to be me walking down the aisle. Haha what a funny guy. =D

Hi my name is EMILY. For the wedding, my dress is the colour of my eyes, chocolate brown. My shoes are black with a bow on the top. I have jewellery. My hair is half up and half down. I am wearing makeup. For my makeup I will have lipstick, eyeshadow and glitter.

I cant wait until the wedding, it will be awsome. I cant wait until I get to put on my cool as, snazzy suit and my dress shoes. I am the ring bearer, it will be fun. 

I love the wedding shoes and dress that I am going to wear. I'm looking forward to seeing you all there. 14 more days until the wedding.

Today I tried on my flowergirl dress. I think my dress is really cool, and it looks pretty as well. Then we had a look at shoes. The colour of my shoes is black. They look really cool and I will be wearing stockings. I will be holding a bouquet of flowers in my hand, and first Phoebe walks up the aisle, then I go. After I go and get to the top, then Emily goes. After Emily, Amber goes, then Megan and then Lisa. Tyler will be staying up the top with Dad. I am looking forward to the wedding and I think it wll be really cool.

It's 14 days until the wedding!

We have the dresses, jewellery and shoes and the young girls are excited about their shoes!

Well, the final rush is on - we are only 2 weeks from the wedding!

I alternate from panic that there are so many last minute things to organise that couldn't be done earlier, and confidence that everything is sorted, ready to go, and everyone will have a great time.

Having said that, all of our plans have been going so smoothly its been amazing. The kids have all been great and we have brilliant people helping us - Helena our celebrant, Pat & Judith at Brides Corner, Lisa our wedding planner at HDV, and Michelle our photographer. They are a wonderful bunch of people and we are very grateful for their expert advice and support.

Even so, I'm looking forward to the break at the end of it all, I feel a bit like the ginger below....
